Her mind goes blank with confusion for a brief moment the moment that Angel's arms wrap around her. It's not that they haven't had contact. They've trained. They've worked together. But it's the contact and the familiarity of the hug that gives her pause. She can't recall the last time she's hugged a person. Even with Clarke, just before she left her room, there was a kiss and a lingering moment of good-bye (this moment even arises into the blank of her mind, all too apparent), but it hadn't been this. ...
