[The fact that he itches to rub it in gets under her skin. While it may not show on her face, there is that deep-seated feeling of emotion that reveals that she's frustrated with him. It's not that he hit a nerve (she doesn't feel jealous over Angel's ties with others), but that he's trying to hit a nerve that irritates her.]

Your life experiences are different now. [Lexa recalls her conversation with Ilde after Prince lectured all of them. They have to adapt or die, or there was no reason in coming here at all. The next time one of them acts poorly, the collateral damage may be themselves or someone they've allowed themselves to care for. It got through to her to some degree, even if she didn't seek Lexa out for assistance in growing.

(In hindsight, Lexa is relieved about this fact: she's not exactly the best at teaching social etiquette, and Ilde's strange mindset befuddles her more times than not.)]

We are no longer on your world. Just as I am no longer on mine. I believe both you and Angel fail to understand the circumstances of where I've come from in depth. We need to adapt here. It's not only about survival, but also not showing the scars from where we've come from.
