[ There's something to this, a intimacy to sharing food with another person. Settled across from him on the couch. One leg tucked under her, picking at things, mouthfuls of this and that, and pushing the plates backwards and forwards, taking the seconds to admire the food just for itself. Pokes one thing, that is just a battered ball, and then brightly colored syrup comes out. A fascination but it's more than that. She knew that people perceived differently, tasted, smelt, touched and heard things differently. But it became clear just what this meant, not that it was bad, just some how she knew it would never be the same. To share and disregard, to have flavors not just as she would taste them, but as he did. What he liked, she liked and what she didn't, he seemed to turn away from. Unspoken exchange that made all of it simply more.

Oh -- [ when he comes back, she sets her cup down from her first sip, turning her eyes to what he's holding and right she guessed that made sense too. ] I thought you meant a turtle had swallowed it and then you had to -- well, not that. [ She does her best to not think about exploding skags after how he had reacted last time, and the fact they just ate.

It's really cute. [ A brief nod, okay changing topics. ] Was there anything else down there?
