He shakes his head, about to answer in the affirmative without thinking before he stops himself, almost quite literally holding his tongue. His eyes flick back to the webbing swaying from the beam.
Except this guy seems to have cottoned onto his identity and denying it at this point is practically admitting it out in the open. There's no one else here, after all. No one else who could possibly have done anything like it.
