[Bucky doesn't know what to say in response, to either Sam's playfulness or patience. He leans back to allow Sam to stroke up his good side, away from the jagged teeth that mar his other side. Even with that spark, even with Sam's gentle touch, Bucky's unsure of what he really wants, other than to hold Sam in close and make sure no one touches him. So, he quietly curls his arm around Sam and tries to tug him in close. Just be here. Just be here with me.
