I fucked up, and dragged somebody down with me.
[ the way he says it is rushed, like he just wants to say the bare minimum and NOT have it poked and prodded at. like a stone that needs to be turned over, to see where he's just raw and bleeding underneath, a haunted festering thing he can ignore but can't escape. and it's coming up now, here in this sort of place where he usually finds solace. where he usually goes to be ALONE with his thoughts, and even that's been wrested from him. and his mind just burns and burns with a single image. ]
