[ someone's up and awake again. Not so tired sounding, though. This time, she's remembered to go and eat before she reaches out to the rest of the hive. ]

( Is anyone in the Bearings that can give me an update on what I've... missed? As much detail as possible.

If it were safer, I might suggest we start keeping more accessible records for these... interludes. )

[ She's not fond of this not knowing everything all the time ever. Which on the note of: she sighs, little echoing tumbling thought that is edged with frustration. ]

( And... does anyone what kind of tricks lions should do? Are they meant to be predators? Are they meant to be tamed?

.... Actually, does anyone know what a lion is? I'm starting to realise I don't know very much about animals if they aren't trying to eat you. Which isn't particularly useful, right now. )

[ ... and for anyone looking for Angel, she will be with a strew of mechanical parts around her that is half in her room, half in the corridor for her shiny new, tackely bright gold performing robotic lion. ]

( That's a circus? Like, uh - )

[ The image that pops up in reply, the closest thing she knows in reply is - a woman, she's not beautiful, she's sexy. It's sickeningly so, weaponized. She'll rip out tongues and the poor idiots let her and say thank her for the blood filling up their mouths. ]

( My cover job is "robot lion tamer", which I thought I better look the part at least. So I got a robot lion? But I realised I don't know what tricks it's meant to do. We don't really... have shows like that on Pandora. )

[decommission]

( Oh - ) [ A flash of heated, stuttered discomfort is flooded with revulsion before vanishing. ] ( ... not like that. )

[ He pauses, refocuses on lions. Robot lions. ]

( You could put your head in its mouth? ) [ Not a memory, but a creation of his own: an steel lion with bright blue eyes opens its jaws wider and wider for a brightly animated Angel to carefully place her head in, applause break out from a stick figure crowd. ] ( How does he work, anyway? )

[ Does the lion have a mind of its own, like the androids? ]

[circumspector]

[ She starts giggling at the image, and the flustered hum of his thoughts. ]

( It has a program to be lion-like. I'm trying to work out the ins and outs of his... personality I guess? They write their programs differently to how I do, so it's a bit of a learning process. )

[ Tap, tap goes her fingers. ]

( I don't think putting my head in it would be too impressive, it has a kill switch to make sure it never uses excessive force against a human. )

[decommission]

[ Hmm. ]

( If all else fails, you could always teach him a song and dance. )

[ A man in a lion costume performs a lively song against a backdrop of yellow flowers and a sparkling green floor, a red ribbon tying up his mane. ]

[ But he gives her idea before she can finish. Contemplates the image for a second. She'd - maybe need someone blond for that? Maybe? Who could - ]

[ The man is almost immediately replaced with Steve in her own reflection of the same imaging, his hair all spiked up, big ribbon in the top -







and she bursts into laughter. loud on the connection, and in her room. ]

[decommission]

[ A flicker like confusion, a pause -

then a snort, his own laughter bubbling from deep in his chest. ]

( You know - you'd have to pay the crowd to watch my singing and dancing. )

[circumspector]

[ She takes awhile to quiet her giggling. ]

( No! I am sure they would like it! You'd look... sweet. )

[ nope, and she's back into giggling again. ]
