[ someone's up and awake again. Not so tired sounding, though. This time, she's remembered to go and eat before she reaches out to the rest of the hive. ]
( Is anyone in the Bearings that can give me an update on what I've... missed? As much detail as possible.
If it were safer, I might suggest we start keeping more accessible records for these... interludes. )
[ She's not fond of this not knowing everything all the time ever. Which on the note of: she sighs, little echoing tumbling thought that is edged with frustration. ]
( And... does anyone what kind of tricks lions should do? Are they meant to be predators? Are they meant to be tamed?
.... Actually, does anyone know what a lion is? I'm starting to realise I don't know very much about animals if they aren't trying to eat you. Which isn't particularly useful, right now. )
[ ... and for anyone looking for Angel, she will be with a strew of mechanical parts around her that is half in her room, half in the corridor for her shiny new, tackely bright gold performing robotic lion. ]

[ She pauses. Oh, hey, that name sounds kinda familiar. ]
( Wait, Angel? I think Sam mentioned you, right? You're one of the people I should talk to about technology, right? )

[ She's distracted, processing, contemplating. Almost doesn't respond until a moment later. Scatter brained, this one. ]
( Oh, yes, that's me. What would you like to know? )

( Uh, Sam said that you guys had a tech setup or something and that you two were the people I should talk to about coordinating when we try to dig stuff out of the local network. At least stuff that's where we're not supposed to be, anyway. )
no subject
( I can definitely help you with that. What did you have in mind to look for? )

( I don't know yet. There's a lot of information bouncing around and I'm not really sure what we should be following up on - but, uh, the head of Public Security. I was thinking of following up on her, because the other Sam said that she was lying about something, so maybe she knows more then she's letting on? )

( In my experience, and from what I've been told by the others about the situation, I definitely think so. We can definitely start looking in that direction.
And I can show you the ropes, so to speak, of the tech here whilst we're at it if you like? )

Have you been able to find anything? These guys take their security way more seriously than the Galra ever did. )

It's hard. We have technology similar, even on the same level to certain degrees but - they take their security beyond that again. I've found it difficult because there aren't the usual ... back doors I guess you could say, that I usually found to enter through. Or at least, not for long, they notice my presence quickly, I don't read like a normal user.
.... Which is a very long way of saying, unfortunately, nowhere near as much as I would prefer or even find to be useful. )

So, same conclusion. Maybe we can figure out a way around that, though. There's always a loophole somewhere, right? )

I have been looking for one, but I am beginning to think that more hands-on forms of infiltration might be better. But that might just be my own frustration at getting flagged more times than I can count. )
