[ Pidge is in the middle of replying when there's a bowl of water dumped on her head. She sputters for a moment and reaches up to shove hair out of her eyes. She shoots Lakshmi a rather rueful look and spits out a few drops. ]

Because no one so young should be serious all the time. [ As for the latter: ] And I am afraid so. At least amongst many of our compatriots here especially.

[ Just most of the time these days. But she doesn't really have anyone her own age to hange out with or goof of with all that often. And she spends so much time cooped up, trying to figure out ways to make sure the mission succeeds. ]
Ugh. One day I'm gonna get that growth spurt... Just watch.
