He slants a look towards the pool, thoughts wandering back towards what little information they've got. The corpses are included in that, which is making the idea of slipping into said pool less appealing by the second. ]
The whole bloody thing's a bit much. If it was our so-called enemies that killed the poor fools, at least then we've still only got the one set of murderers to ferret out.
[ If they've fallen into some straight-up political intrigue outside of their already convoluted mission, he's out. ]

Somehow I doubt it would be so simple. There seems to be some machinations beyond what our enemy presents. Though, it would be neat of them if it were all related, hm?
[ Like a puzzle fitting together. ]
At any rate, please don't let me keep you from your relaxation.
[ November gestures to the sauna, which. Even if people died here, he's not bothered, as evidenced by his stepping towards and then into the pool itself. ]

[ The prospect of an espionage puzzle clearly appeals less to Mat, though his answer's more dubious than outright dismissive. Mat only debates the sauna for another moment before he follows, his desire for a good soak apparently stronger than his paranoia.
The knives are left in a pile with the rest of his clothes, minus the black scarf that stays on his neck. There isn't much deliberation in that choice; it's just habit, keeping it on. This is hardly the first time it's been the only thing he's wearing. He takes a seat near the edge, eyes tracking one of the luminous fish as it swims past. ]
If we're to be mixed up in their intrigues, I'll bloody well take advantage of their baths. It's the least they owe us.
[ If the whole concept of palace (or airship, as it were) baths has been slightly mixed up with the idea of being kept by a queen, so be it. He'd had an easy enough time treating the small luxuries as his well-deserved win then, too. ]

Admittedly, it's a nice advantage.
[ And because he can't keep his curiosity to himself: ]
Worried your neck will get cold?

I wear it for luck. Very superstitious, us Emond's Field folk.
[ Doesn't take mind reading to know he's lying, though it's clear he doesn't care if it's convincing. ]
I'm sure you've got a few strange traditions wherever you came from.

It must be very lucky.
[ Then again, he knows when not to push. And when to bide his time for an answer. ]
You're right. We have a queen where I'm from; she has several little dogs. We have to bow to her and her little four legged friends.
