Forgive me, sometimes my English becomes muddled. Queen Shantala, of Hoysala. [ Still not lifting her head. ] She was of a quick mind and an able body. One day, she was dancing with her closest friends, when the King of Hoysala saw her - he saw that she was a beautiful dancer. Elegant in her form, and when they spoke, he found that she was as wise as a philosopher. He soon fell in love with her, for how could a man not want to possess something so grand?
But she refused him, as she did not love him that way, but her closest friend did. So she said instead that he must marry all of them, and she would be his Queen. Finding that agreeable, he did so.
