[ There's a crackle of static, of a radio station getting tuned in and a deep breath. Not a loud one, this one, just tentative brush at whatever is closest. ]

[ Well, someone's awake. Tired sounding, but awake and she tries to clear her mind to focus enough to reach out broaden to whoever might be nearby. More direct, a little more present. Nervous always, when she feels disconnected from others. ]

[ and for anyone looking for her, she's around the Bearings as she catches up on what she's missed out on, getting herself cleaned up from her extended nap time, and plugging herself back into the nest of machines in the common area. ]

No just - [ she lifts up her wrist, and there's a sparkling charm bracelet she's picked up somewhere, letting it rattle around her wrist. ] - I like things like this.

[ She beams at him, happy - it's not even that she minds if it's not what she likes, likes more that he might do it for her. ]

I'll look forward to it. [ Steps up then, snatching his hand, tugging him a little bit further along. ] Where do you want to have lunch?

... Let's go to the most expensive place here. They should have really good food, right? Probably stuff we've never tried before.

That sounds great. [ are they dressed for it? No. Who cares. ] Do you think they have uhm... I don't know what skag steak would be here?

[ With a shrug, ] I dunno. We could just ask, I guess. Or we could make them get some for us.

[ She giggles and there's something mean to it, where she seldom is. ] The kitchen staff wouldn't survive.

[ But she carries on afterwards. ] We should order the weirdest things off the menu, see what they taste like.
