[Or, at worse, maybe it won't. But Bruce won't bend the truth one way or another just for the sake of everyone getting along; lies would always be unravelled one way or another, just making things worse.]

( I'm not surprised. She hasn't been here long and she's the type to make enemies swiftly. She'll use the end of a conversation you cared nothing about to justify her poor argument at the beginning. She baits and it's obvious.

If nothing else, she will cause discord among us if she is not tempered. )

[Still, there is the sense that the animosity is more out of frustration than anything else. She is willing to make it two-sided strong dislike if it should come to that, but like with Ren and Ilde, she'd rather act on that knowingly.]

[If that's the case, Bruce can't help but wonder exactly how that's going to go. Maybe they could reach an understanding; or maybe they'd just continue to butt heads for all eternity. Either way, he imagines it's too early yet to cast any real judgment.]

If she can be reasoned with, logic says that it depends on the source of reason as much as the words themselves. )

[To some degree, this is revealing for Lexa. But what might later be called "obvious manipulation" is her trying to best position others to act where they can call upon their strengths.]
