[ Hello everyone, here's a gentle knock or nudge on your mental doors. It's as polite and crisp as the person behind it– Hux is never one to overlook formalities, regardless of the fact that everyone is linked in the brain. So once he's relatively certain he has most people's attention, he'll get more to the point. ]
( If I have interrupted your activities, I do apologize. However, I have something I would like to pass across to the rest of you should it be of interest.
Considering the growth of the Nest that we've experienced, it may benefit us to begin coordinating efforts and communication on a larger scale.
I realize this may seem redundant when taking the mindlink into account, but for those who are newer or those who do not have as much of a handle on their newfound powers, it could be helpful. Moreover, the progress we've made collectively on this mission could be pushed with more cohesive organization. )
[ Does it sound like he's practiced this? He probably has. Anyone who might be familiar with him would recognize the speechifying. ]
( All in all, I believe this group is rather talented and driven, just lacking on the communication aspect. If you've input on any of these points, I would be glad to hear them. )
[ ooc: Hux is essentially seeing if people want to share power descriptions so it makes it easier for other characters to tap people for missions! This is completely optional. He'll also be making notes and probably being nosy I mean checking in on broods re: temperature checks. Feel free to volunteer if you want dad Hux to bother your character about their feelings about the nest : ) ]

[ Hopefully that's what Hux's fancy lingo means. Aoba has to agree - they've been pretty disjointed with so many hosts coming and going, himself included. This mission has already taken much longer than their last one, which was... also a mess. And they've lost a host in each. He's mentioned his abilities to a few hosts, but laying everything out on the table is bound to do some collective good. ]

[ Considering what incredible tech geniuses some of the other hosts are, he hardly feels like he can contribute his skills in a meaningful way. But his psychic skills, as weird and destructive as they are, might be more useful to put out there. ]
As for abilities, I can influence and control people with the sound of my voice, emotionally and physically. I can also insert my consciousness into another person's mind.
When I do that, it's... kind of like entering another world that's all about that person. I can see their memories, their fears, pretty much everything. And I can destroy parts of their mind.
Or... all of it.
[ A beat. His frequency hums nervously. ]
I-I should mention, I haven't used it on anyone here! I only know about it because I've had this power my whole life, though I haven't always been aware of it. The symbiote just... gave me some more control over it. I think.

[ You know, just in case of emergency.
Still, that's not the interesting part. Hux listens to Aoba carefully, feeling a mix of discomfort with the powers as well as a thrill of their possible uses. ]
( With careful application, such powers could come in as very useful. I'd suggest finding out how much control you have over the power itself, though doubtless encouraging non-essential use of the ability would be seen as callous. )

Y-yeah, it's... not something I can really practice. I understand that.
[ A beat. ]
If I ever do need to use it, I'll just have to be really careful and pay extra attention to my control. N-not that I wouldn't be careful already. I don't want to use it to hurt anyone.
[ A power like this would be so useful for hurting people, though. Especially their enemies. A part of him knows this, but it's a part he'd rather not acknowledge so openly. ]

You're aware of it, you are beginning to understand it better. I believe these are good steps, Aoba. )
[ what a power it is, though. ]

[ It's easy enough to admit, even if he's still a little unsure about the person he's admitting it to. But he shared this information openly for a reason. The Nest should know. The sooner they know, the sooner he'll be accepted and he can use his abilities in a positive light, right?
Even if it hasn't been positive so far. There's a reason he's afraid. ]
The first and... last time I used it, I was trying to help a friend. But, something went wrong. His mind came completely apart.
[ A beat. His voice is somehow pleasing to listen to in the mind, even when regretful. ]
I... I don't know if he's woken up yet. I guess I never will, now.
